Chairman
Mr. Chong Tin Lung Benny is the Founder and Chairman of VMS Group, responsible for managing the Group’s overall business and corporate strategy. He founded the company in 2006 in Hong Kong and since then, VMS Group has become a well-established, independent multi-strategy financial services group.
Mr. Chong has over 25 years of experience and expertise in the financial industry, and brings extensive consulting knowledge in investments and asset management globally. He also has a wealth of corporate management and experience in China, Hong Kong and the international markets. He currently serves as Chairman of Auto Italia Holdings Ltd. (stock code: 720 HK) and Newton Resources Ltd. (stock code: 1231 HK), both of which are companies listed on Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
Mr. Chong holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto, Canada, and a Master Degree in Science in Investment Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder.

Mr. Andrew Ma is responsible for the Structured Finance and Real Estate business.
He has successfully completed a variety of investment projects using his expertise in real estate, asset acquisitions, restructurings, M&A, structure financing and project financing.
Before joining VMS in 2007, Mr. Ma held management positions in the credit department of a number of banks.
Mr. Ma holds a master’s degree in Science in Investment Management from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.

Mr. Cheung is responsible for corporate strategy, business development and risk management.
He has over 20 years of experience in investing, banking and related fields, with areas of expertise spanning across corporate strategy, institutional fund-raising, risk management across all risk disciplines, corporate governance, internal operational control and infrastructure build-up, for global banks, boutique private funds, and start-up joint ventures in multiple Asia-Pacific jurisdictions including especially in Mainland China.
Prior to joining VMS, Mr. Cheung was a Managing Partner and CEO of a boutique infrastructure fund manager, whose business was acquired by Manulife Asset Management; and has spent over 10 years with Morgan Stanley as a Managing Director and China Chief Operating Officer, and as Greater China Head of Legal and in other senior positions.
Mr. Cheung practiced law with Freshfields and Herbert Smith Freehills in Hong Kong, London and Sydney in his early career, specializing in cross-border private equity investments and structured finance transactions.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) and a Bachelor of Economics with the University of Sydney.

Mr. Tai is responsible for capital markets business.
With over 30 years’ experience in corporate finance and capital markets, Mr. Tai specializes in initial public offerings, mergers & acquisitions, takeover code matters, privatization, new issues and fundraising for private and listed companies.
Prior to joining VMS, Mr. Tai was the Managing Director, Head of Corporate Finance, at Investec Capital Asia Limited, an international banking group with strong asset management capabilities. At Investec, he was responsible for the overall management of the corporate finance business in Hong Kong and mainland China. Mr. Tai was also an executive director of Standard Chartered (Asia) Limited.
Mr. Tai is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a committee member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in Shandong Province. Mr. Tai graduated from the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree.

Mr. Morton is responsible for the securities and advisory business.
He has more than 20 years of investment banking experience in Asia and Latin America, as well as an extensive background in equities, fixed income, bank debt, advisory and risk management. Prior to his career in investment banking, he worked in corporate operations and private equity in Australia, the UK, Canada and France. Mr. Morton also held senior investment banking roles with Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan before joining VMS in early 2016.
Mr. Morton is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales.

Mr. Jack Chow is responsible for the strategic direction and development of the Private Equity business.
Prior to joining VMS in 2012, Mr. Chow was an audit partner at KPMG with extensive experience assisting clients to raise funds in Hong Kong and overseas stock exchanges. He has also advised clients on group restructuring and M&A arrangements.
Mr. Chow is a former member of the Listing Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Chairman of the Mainland Development Strategies Advisory Panel of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Council Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries.

Mr. Morton is a Responsible Officer, overseeing the Company’s business.

Chief Operation Officer
Ms. Ho is the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for overseeing the firm’s business operations strategy.
Ms. Ho has over 20 years of experience in investment management and business operations with extensive knowledge covering accounting and finance, compliance and regulatory requirements for investments across jurisdictions. Prior to joining the firm, she held various senior positions at global and established organizations including PricewaterhouseCoopers, AIG, PAG, China RE Asset in Hong Kong.
Ms. Ho holds a Bachelor of Commence degree from Griffith University in Australia, and an MBA from South Eastern University in the United States. She is also a fellow member of the HKICPA and a member of the CPA Australia.

Chief Strategy Officer
Mr. Shum is the Chief Strategy Officer of VMS Asset Management, responsible for formulating and executing the firm’s investor relations/fundraising and business development strategies.
Mr. Shum has over 30 years of investment consulting and asset management experience in Asia and North America and an extensive institutional investor strategy and relationship management coverage throughout Asia. Prior to joining the firm, he held various executive roles at reputable global and regional investment management organizations, including Franklin Templeton, HSBC, Barings, BOCHK and Value Partners.
Mr. Shum is a graduate from the Western University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
